*sorry Dez, that was the only pic I had of James, me and Maurianne together
It's been many YEARS since I've stomped the path from Heritage Halls to the BYU baseball field. Back then before Miller Field, you were right up in the action. I recall laying on a blanket first baseline "studying" in the grass. Here I could not only smell first basemen but also snag some mean foul balls. There was nothing separating me and 30 potential Mr. Rights. Now days the barrier consists of a thing called maturity, a net and a couple of years! I truly am a "Cougar", discovering I used to root one of the players on the BHS field and in the Creative Foods classroom! Luckily not my classroom, but still it's....CRAZY! What was even crazier was James and I randomly ran into Maurianne! One of the six elite A. Richards girls in dorm 106! She only lived with us our freshman year, idrk (i don't really know) why. While us five (Jamey, Dezi, Elise, Jennie and I) continued to live with one another year after year. Maybe it was because Dezi was so mean to her....evidence shown below. Or maybe because we laughed at her every time she waved her hands in the air all sporadically. Or every time we said her name it was synonymous with "nice sweater" and Bill Murry. And the fact that this is how we screeched her name....
MAAAUUUUURRREEEEEEEEAAANNNE!
How could you not love us? That was the question James and I pondered as her quick greeting/departure was as fast as my mint brownie consumption at the Cougareat. Her and that brownie were gone in a flash!Memories of the cleaning checks and missionary package phase!
Oh and word of advice, writing and sending packages to missionaries is a complete waste of time! As evidenced by 5 faithful righteous Zoobies whom did NOT snag any one of their "missionaries". Favorite quote by Jen on this subject..."I just made a scrapbook for SOMEONE ELSE'S HUSBAND!" Haha I LOVE BYU! I am secretly obsessed with the bathroom soap on campus. Try it.
RAH RAH RAHRAHRAH.....

That was an awesome alumni day! I've already downed 3/4 of my gallon of Creamery Chocolate Milk! Now I will savor the last 1/4. Thanks for posting the pictures and the trip down memory lane. I think Maurianne was intimidated by our undying friendship and hotness!
HAHAHAHAHA!!! OH MY GOSH I LOVE IT!! HAHAHAHA! These pictures are so hilarious! And no wonder why the ex-love-of-my-life never fell for me!! I looke like a boy in that picture with him!! Note to self, no matter how cool that "NATIONALS" t-shirt is, it was still a t-shirt and so UNATTRACTIVE!! Hahaha! Good thing it's now quilted onto a blanket so I can spare myself the embarrassment of wearing it again! I LOVE IT!!
I can't believe you didn't invite me!!!! And, honestly, I can't believe you guys let me live with you year after year. :) But I'm glad you did, and I can't WAIT for our 2010 NYC trip!!! Maybe we should invite Maurianne!
"I just made a scrapbook for SOMEONE ELSE'S HUSBAND"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Brilliant.
I totally remember wasting time on my brother's mission companion. Writng to someone who can't even think of you naked for 2 years is defeating and useless.
I hearby concur.
